Old Hubballi Riot Case: BJP Plans Massive Protest Rally in Hubballi
Hubballi: A massive protest rally is scheduled in Hubballi on October 25 to condemn the state government’s decision to withdraw cases against the accused in the Old Hubballi riot case, announced Arvind Bellad, Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly.
Addressing reporters on Friday, Bellad stated that prominent leaders, including BJP state president B.Y. Vijayendra, Leader of the Opposition R. Ashoka, Chaluvadi Narayanaswamy, and Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, will participate in the rally.
Bellad criticized the state government’s appeasement politics and questioned the rationale behind dropping cases against individuals facing serious charges. He accused the Siddaramaiah-led government of prioritizing minority votes over the welfare of the state and the country, suggesting that they would go to any lengths to secure electoral support.
